Sometimes I'm weird and retarded and I don't know what I'm saying/doing.
In the words of Harry (Judd, not Potter) - I want to kiss you all...

HARLOW!!
*beams*
Today's date: 11th August. The date I last posted: 13th July.
HEH. Sorry! Between the countless mountains of homework, the endless band practices leading up to our National Day Celebrations performance, the never-ending common tests and preparations for our Literature play, I know I should have set aside SOME time to update, right?
I can honestly say that I despise the months of July and August.
Nevermind about that. What have I been up to, you say?
Oh yeah, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!It's a little late, I know, but it's the thought that counts, right? :DD The NDP fireworks were awesome! My sister even managed to capture it on video! :DDD So I get to replay it and gaze in awe at the fireworks over and over again.
Ahem.
I've been having common tests since the start of this term, and I recently got back my Maths, Science and History test results. All of them sucked. ): I didn't fail, but I didn't pass well, either. *sob* I MUST work harder! In fact, I've got a History test next week, and a Literature test the week after that. OHHH I just can't WAIT to drop History and Physics next year. In Cedar, we just take General Science; y'know, Science as a whole. But I've already confirmed that I detest Physics, cos I find it boring. And I'm not even good at it. So yep, off you go, Physics! And History? It's... slightly interesting, but I've been failing or barely passing, so buhbye History as well.
Anyway, like I said, I've been really busy with preparations for Cedar's ND celebrations. We've been having countless band pracs and we aren't going to be able to take a break, either, cos we have another performance coming up. If I'm not mistaken, it's on the 26th of August, so now that ND is over, we'll probably be practising our chosen pieces.
"I can just hear his voice at the sound ofyour horrible playing!A wonderfulsong, butyour strokes are terrible! Change player!"
Sound familiar, anybody?
Oh well. Can't say I won't be expecting it when it comes. This IS life, after all. Life is unfair, yadayadayada. Well, you know what, life? I'm sick of you being unfair! I'm sick of you being biased! Why are you a bed of roses for some people but a bed of thorns for others (like me, for instance)? HUH?? EXPLAIN YOURSELF!
*mumblemutter*
Oh, and Cedar's ND Celebrations ROCKED! Even though I was sad at not being able to celebrate with the rest of the class for the last time, since we'll be separated next year, at least I got to celebrate with my section! ND Celebrations are ALWAYS super-fun; it just depends on the company you're having fun with.
I've still got so many thoughts to pen (or rather, to type) but I don't know where to begin. Hmmm. Band? We'll be performing soon, and I'd like to make an announcement: To all my close friends and best friends, I don't care - you guys better do whatever you can that is in your power to make sure that you come to this performance! That is, if you guys can come. But I should think you'll be able to, because it's a public performance. So if you can, buy tickets and go hor!
Oh yes, I had a fall last Tuesday. I was re-taking my 2.4 km run and I was halfway through my fifth round when I fell down on the track. It's a bitumen track, I think. Anyway, I now have injuries on each knee, each palm, my right elbow and the right side of my waist. Yeah, I have no idea how I got an injury on my waist either, but I do, and it's the most painful of all the injuries. Last Tuesday night I had to remove the gauze on my right elbow, and that really sucked, because some of the gauze got stuck in my wound. Eww, right? Ooh, let me recount that fateful Tuesday.
Anyway, after I fell, I had to continue running, hadn't I? So that's what I did. I couldn't very well stop now that my timing had improved, now could I? I had already ran my 2.4 km run the week before, but due to some miscalculations that apparently only I realised, and only some people knew about it (because I told them). Naturally, I was really, really pissed that I hadn't gotten the desired grade. But I knew that even if there hadn't been a miscalculation, I would have wanted to go for a re-run because I didn't get the grade I wanted, which is either an A or B. I wanted to get Gold for NAPFA, you see. I only had 17 points, and the lowest grade I'd gotten was a C, so, as you can see, I was still in the running for a Gold award.
Just as long as I got another 4 points for 2.4km. ((((:
On my first try, I got an E, though.
On my second try, however, I got an...
A!
YAY! Anyway, this means I've gotten Gold! Yessssssssssssss........
Okay, what else?
My group performed our Lit play last week. But we aren't happy with our results, so we're re-performing this coming Monday. I'd love to elbaorate on the matter, but I think I better not. So as not to hurt anybody's feelings. [: Sigh. We just feel that we should have gotten a higher grade. As for me, I feel REALLY, REALLY, REALLY ANNOYED AND ANGRY at my Literature teacher. I don't think he's biased or anything. I just think he made some... ah, errors, when grading us.
Which is good, because I've had ENOUGH of biased people and their idiocy to last me a lifetime.
Teachers' Day is coming up! I miss Mrs Jai. She's our English teacher, but she's gone on maternal leave. She gave birth quite some time ago. Last two weeks or so. It's a GIRL! :DDDDDD
My cousin's giving birth soon, too. 9/11's her due date, in fact! :DDDDDDDDD I'm going to be an aunt! Sort of. She's like my sister already, anyway, so I count her son as my nephew. AND 9/11's also the date that HSM2 is aired on Disney Channel!
Are any of you going back to EV?? Tell me if you are!
I miss the teachers back at EV, but it's not like any of them remember me, anyway. Trust me, they won't remember me just cos I'm one of the top 3 students. They'll remember Jac, the English Queen, and Pat and Zb, outstanding prefects, though. But definitely not me.
Who's that girl who got 3rd in 2005 ah? What's her name again?
I'll be changing my blogskin again. I couldn't find one quickly enough cos nothing catches my eye anymore.
Alright, if I rmb anything that I've forgotten, I'll put it in another post, cos The Evil Eye has been looking this way for quite some time now.
