I was beginning to gain some confidence in a certain area of talent, but I lost whatever little I had yesterday. And I'm not even being melodramatic! I mean, seriously, if someone told you that you were absolutely horrendous in a certain area, how would you feel?
If that certain someone was close to your heart and told you "no, you would make a fool of yourself" when you joked about joining a competition related to said activity, and also told you "I don't mean to hurt your feelings, but I don't think you have the kind of talent for it."

And I actually thought I was slightly better than alright in that certain area. Amazing. I've been deluded all this while, and in truth I actually can't do anything well.
Hmmm, I'm having an epiphany right now. I'm not very good or talented in any area, and I'll probably never get any job in my life, because everyone is so much better than me at everything, cos, you know, I'm bad at everything. I'm probably one of the rare exceptions to that saying 'Everyone is good at something.'
I am currently still angry at said person right now, but I should appreciate her more, since it's because of her that I'm having this epiphany.
