I'm actually trying to ignore my birthday this year. As in, I'm excited about the part where I turn 16 (yay!).. Just not the events part. I don't have anything planned on that day, which feels sort of good:D All I know is that I'm either going out or going home. It's kind of an idiotic thing to do, ignoring your birthday, but I don't want to have any expectations, so..
Anyway, I was reading some of Jac's archives and saw the post where she listed stuff people could get her for Christmas. That list was a really good thing, but when I do it, it just seems like I think there are surely loads of people waiting to get me presents, so D: no.
Oh oh oh! Jac and I registered for this Young Writers' Seminar on 21st Feb! :D I really hope we can get in, because it's on a first come, first serve basis, and there are limited spots. I really wanna go, and it sounds good! :D
How would you feel if someone came up to you and told you that you sucked at something you feel extremely passionate about? Like, say you loved drawing, and one day someone told you that your drawings totally and absolutely suck. Feels good, doesn't it?
We finally got the SYF video done! :D It feels great to know it's done, because, you know, if we don't submit it or if it gets rejected, there's no point in practising our songs.

Drummers must keep the beat because guitarists are too busy dancing terribly whilst playing, even though the drummer told him that he would suck more if he did. Complaints that drummers speed up come from the fact that the rest of the band slows down.
The only logical conclusion to be drawn from this is that the rest of "the band" are even bigger idiots than the drummer supposedly is; given that the position of keeping the pulse is probably the most important one in any musical ensemble, WHY THE F*** DON'T ONE OF YOU SMUG BASTARDS TRY DOING IT IF YOU HAVE SO MUCH F-ING TALENT?! Given it a go? Was it difficult? Yes? Well, stop taking the piss and buy a goddamn drum machine if you're going to complain about every person you put in the spot; then, when you think it's speeding up, there will finally be proof that it's you slowing down, you bastards!
Yes, it's rather vulgar, but hilarious nonetheless.
I want to watch the Chingay parade! It's tonight and tomorrow night! Amirah's taking part, and I wanna see the Cedarians dancing! D: But I can't, because my family members are coming over to celebrate mine and my brother's birthdays (his is on monday) tomorrow night.
I'm beginning to feel drowsy, having gotten only 8 hours of sleep in total for the past two nights, so I shall go now. Goodnight!
