Singapore has 365 cases of H1N1 now.
I'm like, in disbelief. There were 50 new cases today. With these kinds of diseases, I've always had this naive outlook on things - that it would never happen to me. Even now, with so many new cases a day, and the fact that younger people are more likely to contract it, as well as the fact that I could have H1N1 and simply think I was having the common flu, I'm still rather unfazed. I just keep thinking, "It won't happen to me lah."
Okay, sure, highly likely that you'll survive, even if you've contracted it, since many people seem to have done so. But still, how long does it take to recover? Or what if you don't recover?...
I'm thinking about how I could come into contact with just one person and that that could change my life.
No, I don't want to contract it! I want to go to school and take my exams and be an O Level student! D:
On another note of disbelief - Michael Jackson.
I'm seriously in shock. When I heard the news on TV Mobile this morning, I was thinking, "Nah, no way. No way..."
I feel so sorry for his family, his friends, and all his fans. ): He was a great artist, truly, and will always be remembered by everyone.
