I LOVE MCFLY AND DAVID AND THE HARRY POTTER BOOKS AND I'M NOT AFRAID TO SAY IT.
Lately I've been rather content and positive (which is rare) and generally excited about life.
Sometimes I'm weird and retarded and I don't know what I'm saying/doing.
In the words of Harry (Judd, not Potter) - I want to kiss you all...

Oh yay blogger is back to normal! :D
I got worried today. Because I was afraid SB's characters were turning into Mary Sues and Gary Stus. So I went to Yahoo, and searched: 'Why edward cullen is a gary stu,' and 'Why bella swan is a mary sue.' Haha yes. And then I got sucked into this whirlwind of memories in which I recall having been obsessed with the Twilight series, and then being obsessed with the movie to the extent that I'd spend hours on the net saving images from the movie and reading articles on Twilight, etcetera. I didn't realise it at the time, but I was becoming one of those Twilight fangirls (I'm not saying they're all like that, though) who love love love the books to death and absolutely can't understand the people who say they hate it, and OMG I JUST REALISED IT TODAY. I stopped obsessing over the books a few months ago (Thank God), but yeah, I just realised all of this today. D:
But hey, at least I still though HP was a better series while I was obsessing over Twilight. Yay me! xD I could still tell that, at least. I don't completely hate the book, though. I do still like some parts, but, well, mostly I don't really like it. No offence, but it's currently the book that I like to hate and that I hate to like. o.O
One sign of Mary Sue-ism is when an author self-inserts herself into the main protagonist, who happens to be pretty perfect but somehow still manages to be insecure about herself. And I'm worried about E, because when I first started out she was pretty similar to me. But I've changed her quite a bit by now, so I'm gonna take a look again. Because I'm pretty serious about this (writing and SB), and I want to do it well. Dx Dx
Well, at least she has one of the most ordinary, non Mary Sue-ish names ever.
